Patan Durbar Square is the centre of the Sri Yantra Mandala of the city of Lalitpur. It was enlisted along with its sisters Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square in the UNESCO World Heritage list under the criteria of culture in 1979 AD.
